Project #3: Eight Bridges
My 2018 running project, conceived of while running: photograph the eight bridges I regularly run past eight times each, but only one bridge per run. I liked the squareness of this idea.
Brisbane’s eight bridges, from downriver to upriver:
- the Story Bridge
- the Captain Cook Bridge
- the Goodwill Bridge
- the Victoria Bridge
- the Kurilpa Bridge (my personal favourite)
- the William Jolly Bridge
- the Merivale Bridge (AKA the train bridge)
- the Go Between Bridge
I decided I don’t care about the Eleanor Schonell Bridge (the running routes near and across this bridge are pretty boring) or the Gateway Bridge (too far out of the way).
